"...It really was the most stunning, tranquil and inspirational place for a yoga holiday...I left India feeling more inspired and energised about yoga than I have ever done. So thank you a million times over for organising the best holiday of my life." Anna Watson

"...Everyone has noticed a difference in me and the words 'glowing' 'radiant' 'de-stressed' and even '10 years younger' have been used to describe the new me...It was a great two weeks which I would recommend it to anyone." Brenda L'Estrange

"The mixture of Emil's wisdom & Sue's creative inspiration opened up a whole new world for me & has given me confidence & courage to tackle my fears."

"An important experience of sharing, yoga, meditation & fun company...at times amazing joy...into blissful silence"

"Thank you with all my heart...I felt inspired, preparing the path for major transformation, dealing with profound emotions, combining asanas, pranayama and theatre helped me to unblock my potential."

"I have been inspired by two world class teachers - the variety of exercises & practises together with their complimentary styles are pure poetry."

"I have now been back in England for a couple of weeks and feel like quite a different person to the one who first arrived at Purple Valley at the beginning of the retreat. I was happy when I arrived and astonishingly happy when I left in many ways. I learnt so very much from you both and just wanted to thank you for this. I have been teaching with a renewed energy and enthusiasm since my return and it's wonderful." Julie Sutton

"I had the most fantastic holiday in Egypt, just what was required and has re-inspired me to ensure I keep up my yoga practice. The place, the people, the food, everything was perfect!" Emma (Cathryn Emma Williams)

"If like me you are a stressed out Mum who works full time and tries to juggle all the balls that this entails, I would recommend one of Sue's holidays. Wonderful Yoga, time to reflect and relax, coupled with a great venue. Highly recommended." Sally Watson

"I just wanted to let you know that I had the most amazing time in Dahab! What an absolute treat."

"Everything was first class. Lee is a brilliant teacher, I learnt so much from her."

"The Amanda Hotel was lovely, the boys couldn't do enough for us, so helpful."

"I can't praise you enough! I will be recommending it to all my friends and I can't wait to do it all again! Hopefully in October if funds allow. Thanks again." Jackie Lye

"I had a really great holiday. As a 'yogi beginner' I felt very cherished and like everyone else on the holiday, really appreciated the attention we received from two great teachers. I came to realise that yoga is much more than the 'Sun Salutation'...a practice which can affect your heart as well as your body."

"The location was perfect - with the Red Sea a step away from the hotel and an imposing wall of desert mountains behind us - you couldn't find a better place to practice yoga or just chill out. The desert trip was a truly unique experience and quite awe inspiring." Alyson Rose, Chief Press Officer, Disability Rights Commission

"Just wanted to say a huge thank you for the holiday in Dahab. It was exactly what I needed and I learned huge amounts...plus I laughed a lot, which is always a welcome bonus!"

"I got much more out of it than I could ever have anticipated. I had hoped that I might 'learn' to do self-practice but what I did get was a surprise in the sense that I found that I had gained motivation, inspiration and confidence in my practice on a much deeper level than I thought possible, partly the result of getting a whole new perspective on yoga and on the experience of my own body. I spent a week at the beach afterwards on my own and have never felt so at peace with myself. It was extraordinary. It was while I was doing asanas on the beach there that I realised that my whole experience of it had shifted quite fundamentally." Sally Underwood

The Sinai Stretch - Esther Shaw

...with a lesson every morning and evening, I soon realised that yoga is not only an excellent way of toning up the body, but really does help to get rid of anxiety and stress. And as the days went by, I could actually feel my joints starting to loosen, my spine getting longer, my breathing getting easier, and my head beginning to empty.

A highlight was our overnight excursion to the desert, organised by YOAS with a local Bedouin family. We were driven around the desert in the back of an open-top 4x4 to explore the dunes and canyons of this stark but beautiful place. We took part in a little canyoning, Bedouin-style, which involved clambering between rocks, gullies and overhangs, and climbing up crevices on a rope. At the desert camp in the evening, we were treated to a Bedouin feast and singing around the campfire, before dragging our mattresses out into the sands and falling asleep under a ceiling of stars...read the rest of this article
